Abstract

New Hampshire residents are divided about expectations for their household finances in the coming year. Granite Staters also have mixed expectations for the state and national economies but are somewhat more optimistic about the state economy. Most state residents do not understand how tariffs work but many expect that tariffs will increase prices and harm the overall economy.
