Abstract
Vice President Kamala Harris leads former President Donald Trump in Rhode Island by a comfortable margin and a majority expect Harris to win the election. Harris is seen by Rhode Island voters as performing better than Trump in the recent debate. Trump supporters are more likely than Harris supporters to say that they avoid expressing their support for Trump and are unlikely to display a bumper sticker or yard sign showing their support. Half of Rhode Islanders consider voter fraud to be a serious problem in the country at large and a majority of Republicans believe that many forms of voter fraud such as fraudulent mail in or absentee ballots, non-citizens voting, and people voting using the name of someone else occurs frequently. State residents are somewhat less likely to consider voter fraud to be a serious issue in Rhode Island.
