Abstract

Vice President Kamala Harris leads former President Donald Trump by a large margin in Massachusetts and a majority expect her to be elected president in November. Bay Staters think Harris performed much better than Trump during the recent presidential debate. Many Trump supporters, particularly women, say that they avoid expressing their support for Trump in public or private. More than one-third of Bay Staters consider voter fraud to be a serious problem in the country and a majority of Republicans believe that several forms of voter fraud occur frequently. State residents are less likely to consider voter fraud a serious issue in Massachusetts.
