Abstract
A majority approve of retiring incumbent Governor Chris Sununu's job performance. Four in ten residents, and more than two-thirds of Republicans, believe he has been above average or one of New Hampshire's best governors. Sununu's handling of COVID-19 and taxes are most often cited by his supporters as positive decisions while his handling of abortion and support for former President Donald Trump are most often mentioned as poor decisions by Sununu's detractors.
