Abstract
Vice President Kamala Harris holds a massive lead over former President Donald Trump in the presidential race in Vermont, fueled by an extraordinary lead among women and those with college degrees. Harris is far more personally popular than Trump and is rated considerably better on several personal attributes, particularly temperament, honesty, and integrity. About four in ten Vermonters are not confident that there will be a peaceful transfer of power following the November election. The Democratic vice presidential nominee, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is quite popular in Vermont and most Harris supporters are enthusiastic about his selection. President Joe Biden's job performance remains unchanged and Vermonters are divided on Biden's overall tenure in office.
