Abstract
Most Vermont residents think Israel was justified in declaring war on Hamas following its attack on October 7th, but Vermonters do not think Israel's decision to cut off supplies from the Gaza Strip was justified. Vermonters indicate they feel an equal amount of sympathy for Israeli and Palestinian civilians, and most want the U.S. to be neutral arbiters in a larger peace process. Vermonters are divided in their assessment of President Joe Biden's handling of the conflict but are more positive in their assessment of his overall foreign policy.
