Abstract
More than half of New Hampshire residents feel that summers are warmer than two decades ago and two-thirds say they have avoided doing outdoor activities at least one day this summer due to the heat. Seven in eight Granite Staters believe climate change is happening now and the majority believe it is caused primarily by human activity. Young people and Democrats are particularly likely to believe climate change is caused primarily by people and to be worried about its effects.
