All UNH Survey Center Polls
Abstract
Few Maine residents say they will heed a recommendation by Seafood Watch to avoid the state's most famous food because of the potential threat to right whales because of lobster fishing. Majorities support making the COVID-era "to-go" alcohol sale policy permanent and a proposed ban on the sale of flavored cigarettes, while a plurality support banning pharmacies from selling tobacco products. Housing, the cost of living, and jobs or the economy are most often cited by residents as the most important problem facing the state.
