2022 NH Senate Race Remains Close 10/21/2021

Abstract

New Hampshire residents are divided between incumbent Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan and her possible Republican challengers for the 2022 Senate election. Current Governor Chris Sununu is the strongest potential challenger, followed by former Senator Kelly Ayotte and retired General Don Bolduc, the only announced Republican candidate in the race. Hassan's popularity in the state continues to decline and for the first time a majority have an unfavorable view of her, while Sununu's popularity has also fallen in recent months.
