Sununu's Job Approval Falls From All-Time High; Bipartisan Optimism About NH Overall 4/23/2019

Abstract

Governor Chris Sununu's job approval has declined from an all-time high in February, but his approval mirrors that of his predecessor Maggie Hassan at the same point in her governorship. Only four in ten Democrats approve of Sununu's performance as Governor, but they are just as likely as Republicans to say the state is headed in the right direction. The percentage of Granite Staters who cite the drug crisis as the most important problem facing the state has fallen by nearly 20% over the past year.
