Abstract
Granite Staters favor increasing the child tax credit and creating a new elder/sick care credit and a plurality favor reducing the number of federal tax brackets. Residents are divided on eliminating the federal estate tax and are somewhat opposed to lowering the top corporate tax rate and lowering the "pass-through" corporate tax rate. Residents are closely divided on this package of reforms as a whole. As expected, Democrats oppose most of these changes and Republicans favor them. Increasing the child tax credit and creating an elder/sick care credit enjoys bipartisan support.
