Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the songs "Tom Jones", "Don Jumpedo", "Trip to Richmond", "La ma mort", and "The Surprise" on the front. The inner pages contain notation for the songs "Charlotte M'Carthy" and "Marlbrouck". The back page is has notation for the song "Little Wood". Sources and some dancing figures are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Tom Jones" is in D major and 6/8 time; "Don Jumpedo" is in F major and 6/8 time; "Trip to Richmond" is in B-flat major and 4/4 time; "La ma mort" is in A major and 4/4 time; "The Surprise" is in A major and 4/4 time;"Charlotte M'Carthy" is in G major and 6/8 time; "Marlbrouck" is in G major and 6/8 time; "Little Wood" is in G major and 4/4 time.
