Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the songs "Lord Howies Minuet" and "The Sheep Sheering" on the front. The inner pages contain notation for the songs "La Stratford, or The Jubilee (continued)", "Miss Crowley's Minuet", "L [Alcimadori], a new cotillon", and "Tringham's Fancy". The back page is blank. Sources and some dancing figures are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Lord Howies Minuet" is in G major and 3/4 time; "The Sheering Sheep" is in G major and 6/8 time; "The Jubilee (continued)" is in D major and 2/4 time; "Miss Crowley's Minuet" is in G major and 3/4 time;"L [Alcimadori], a new cotillon" is in B major and 6/8 time;"Tringham's Fancy" is in G major and 4/4 time.
