Description
A music manuscript with two melodic fragments labelled "A New Country Dance" and "Mr. Romeo's Maggot" on the front. The back page contains notation for the songs "Cupid's Courtesie", "The Duke of Gloucester's March", and "The Lover's Whim". Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Cupid's Courtesies" is in A minor and 3/4 time; "The Duke of Gloucester's March" is in C major and 4/4 time; "The Lover's Whim" is in G major and 3/4 time.
