Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the songs "Blackheath Minuet" and "Captain Day's Minuet" on the front. The inner pages contain notation for the songs; "Mr Neal's Minuet", "The New Macaroni Dance", "The Queen's Night-Cap", "The Russian Minuet", and "[Arthur Cummers]". The back page is blank. Sources are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Blackheath Minuet" is in G major and 3/4 time; "Captain Day's Minuet" is in G major and 3/4 time; "Mr. Neal's Minuet" is in G minor and 3/4 time; "The New Macaroni Dance" is in G major and 6/8 time; "The Queen's Night-Cap" is in F major and 2/4 time; "The Russian Minuet" is in D major and 3/4 time; "Arthur Cummers" is in D major and 4/4 time.
