Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the songs "Windsor Jubilee", "East Stoughton Assembly", and "Rakes of Clonmell" on the front. The inner pages contain notation for the songs; "[Cazenovia] Assembly", "Le Grand Rondeau", "The Request"—by L'Abe Vogler—"Pegg's Aria", "Miss Green's Fancy", and "Charlotte of [Werten]". The back page contains notation for the songs "Wicklow Lilt" and "Monmouth" . Sources are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Windsor Jubilee" is in D major and 4/4 time; "East Stoughton Assembly" is in D major and 4/4 time; "Rakes of Clonmell" is in B minor and 6/8 time; "[Cazenovia] Assembly" is in D major and 6/8 time; "Le Grand Rondeau" is in D major and 2/4 time; "The Request" is in C major and 2/4 time; "Pegg's Aria" is in A minor and 2/4 time; "Miss Green's Fancy" is in C major and 6/8 time; "Charlotte and [Werten] is in D major and 6/8 time; "Wicklow Lilt" is in C major and 4/4 time; "Monmouth" is in C major and 2/4 time.
