Abstract
Vermont Governor Phil Scott’s job approval ratings have declined in recent months, but he still leads his two potential Democratic challengers in the November election. A majority of likely Democratic primary voters are undecided about which Democratic candidate for governor they prefer, with progressives and socialists slightly favoring Amanda Janoo and moderates and liberals slightly favoring Aly Richards. Former Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray continues to lead the Democratic field to take on incumbent Republican John Rodgers. Gray and two other Democratic candidates lead Rodgers in prospective general election matchups. Gerald Malloy has built a clear lead over fellow Republican Mark Coester in the race to challenge incumbent Democratic Congresswoman Becca Balint in Vermont's congressional district, but both Malloy and Coester trail Balint considerably in general election matchups.
