Abstract

Two-thirds of Rhode Island residents disapprove of President Donald Trump's overall job performance. Assessments of his handling of foreign affairs and the economy have also slumped since February, particularly among Independents. Majorities of Rhode Islanders support several proposed changes to federal election laws. Just over two-thirds of Rhode Islanders believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
