Abstract
Nine in ten Maine residents plan to celebrate Christmas this year and a plurality will have an artificial tree. Most Mainers expect a White Christmas this year, up from just over half last year. Mainers prefer "Merry Christmas" as a holiday greeting rather than "Happy Holidays".
