All UNH Survey Center Polls

Abstract

Amid ongoing acrimony between Maine Governor Janet Mills and President Donald Trump, nearly two-thirds of Mainers agree with Trump that transgender women should be barred from participating in women's sports. Mainers increasingly disapprove of Trump's performance as president, particularly his handling of the economy and use of tariffs, and most expect a recession within a year. On foreign policy, most Mainers disapprove of Trump's handling of the conflict in Ukraine and disagree with Trump's contention that Ukraine started the war.
