Abstract
Four-fifths of Vermont residents took the time to view the April 8th solar eclipse and 17% traveled outside of their local area to see it. Most Vermonters, particularly those who purposefully took time to view the eclipse, saw a total eclipse, while a small number saw only a partial eclipse. Nearly all of those who traveled to see the eclipse were satisfied with their trip.
