Trump Maintains Control in NH GOP Primary; Foreign Policy Increasingly Important to GOP Primary Voters 11/16/2023

Abstract

Donald Trump continues to lead the 2024 New Hampshire Republican Primary and he is now the most personally popular candidate among GOP Primary voters. Nikki Haley continues to gain support and is in second place in the GOP field, followed by Chris Christie. On the issues, foreign policy has become far more important since September, while support for a 15-week abortion ban has declined. Few likely Republican primary voters paid close attention to the November Republican debate and only about half are interested in further debates taking place.
