Abstract
More than six in ten Maine residents believe that former President Donald Trump will be convicted in at least one of the cases currently being brought against him, up from just over half who expected this in April. However, only one in five expect Trump will spend one or more days in prison. Majorities of state residents feel that Trump committed a crime in each of the four cases for which he has been indicted. A majority of Mainers believe that Hunter Biden has done something illegal and that he is receiving favorable treatment because he is Joe Biden's son.
