Abstract

Six in ten Maine residents believe the social media platform TikTok poses a high or moderate threat to national security and a slim majority support a ban on the platform. A plurality of Mainers believe social media companies should regulate more content on their platforms. A plurality also believe social media companies in general are biased against the political right. A majority disapprove of how Joe Biden has handled his job as president but six in ten approve of Janet Mills' performance as governor.
