Abstract
With less than a year left in his presidency, President Barack Obama’s job approval and personal favorability rating have remained largely steady in New Hampshire. Obama’s job approval is considerably better than George W. Bush’s at this point in his second term, which could be an important factor heading into the November presidential election. One third of Granite State residents are less likely to travel abroad due to recent terrorist attacks in other countries. A majority of New Hampshire residents continue to think the country is headed in the wrong direction.
