Most Support "Stay at Home 2.0"; Sharp Partisan Divide on What Should be Open in NH 5/19/2020

Abstract

New Hampshire residents generally support Governor Chris Sununu's plan to re-open the New Hampshire economy in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. However, support for "Stay at Home 2.0" is more tepid than support for Sununu's original stay at home order and there are significant differences based on partisanship concerning which industries and public places should be allowed to be open. Large majorities of Democrats and Republicans approve of how Governor Sununu is handling the COVID-19 situation in New Hampshire.
