Abstract
Ahead of the sixth Democratic Primary debate, likely Democratic Primary voters in New Hampshire are modestly satisfied with the criteria used by the DNC to determine who can participate in debates and most think the seven candidates who have qualified is too many or just about the right amount. A majority of likely Democratic voters are not concerned about hosting the first-in-the-nation primary despite a relative lack of racial/ethnic diversity in the state and more than half support state law requiring New Hampshire to retain the first primary. Likely Democratic voters are pessimistic about defeating Donald Trump next November, as more than half believe it is very or somewhat likely he will be reelected.
