Abstract
The presidential race in New Hampshire between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain has grown tighter in recent days as Republicans decide to put their support behind their party’s nominee. Democrat Jeanne Shaheen continues to hold her lead against incumbent Republican John Sununu in the U.S. Senate race, and incumbent Democrat Carol Shea-Porter has extended her lead over Republican Jeb Bradley in the First Congressional District.
