Abstract

The race for Boston Mayor in the preliminary election is too close to call. There are 4 candidates who are within a few percentage points of each other with no clear leader. Only 24% of likely voters say they have definitely decided who to support, voters know little about the candidates and interest in the election is low. What happens over the final week of the campaign, and the organizational strength of the candidates, will be deciding factors in which two candidates make it to the November election.
