Abstract

Governor Ned Lamont leads Republican challenger Ryan Fazio and most voters expect Lamont to win. Attorney General William Tong leads Republican John Bolton. Affordability, taxes, and economic and financial health top the list of most important issues in the election. On state issues, residents support a higher minimum wage, cost of living increases for state employees, large employers paying for their employees' use of public assistance programs, and auditing private businesses' use of artificial intelligence in personnel decisions.
