RISK: Health, Safety & Environment (1990-2002)

About This Journal

Produced from 1990-2001, RISK was the official journal of the Risk Assessment and Policy Association. A refereed, interdisciplinary quarterly, RISK explored public and private efforts to manage science and technology for a net reduction in the probability, severity and aversive quality of health, safety and environmental impacts of natural and artificial hazards. Articles elaborated on the normative issues involved in determining the acceptability of risk and human risk management in the areas of consumer, environmental, medical, and occupational regulation as well as tort litigation. Authors and editorial advisors come from a broad professional cross section representing the fields of law, economics, medicine, social sciences, and public policy.
