Abstract

In rural states such as New Hampshire, one of the most prominent factors impacting individual and population health is reliable transportation. Access to transportation is especially crucial for those living with a substance use disorder (SUD), as many resources are concentrated in urban areas like Manchester and Nashua. This memo aims to provide justification to procure for recovery-based transportation services by highlighting the clinical impacts and reviewing models implemented in other states.
