The Hugemanities Project
The Hugemanities Project is a collaboration between The New Hampshire Humanities Collaborative, and UNH College of Liberal Arts, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. It is an initiative that highlights the engaged, active thinking and digital humanities work UNH and CCSNH students are doing. It showcases the different ways students look at global problems and issues through their own diverse viewpoints. The primary goal of The Hugemanities Project is to promote and raise awareness about the work of the humanities at UNH and at the New Hampshire community colleges. The Hugemanities Project works to answer the question, Why the humanities?
The Hugemanities Big Contest seeks digital projects created by CCSNH students and UNH students taking courses in the liberal arts. The contest has four contest categories: The Breakout Contest, The Digital Storytelling Contest, The Change the World (persuasive) Contest and the Innovative Design Contest. The humanities ask us to consider Big questions! The Big Contest is looking for digital projects that explore Big ideas!
