Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the songs "La Legere" and "La Pyramids" on the front. The inner pages contain notation for the songs "La Monaco Nouvelle", "La Plaisirs de Fontaine", "Le Terpsychore [Terpsichore]" and "La Volage". The back page is has notation and lyrics for the song "Highland Lassie". Sources and some dancing figures are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "La Legere" is in G major and 2/4 time; "La Pyramids" is in G major and 2/4 time; "La Monaco Nouvelle" is in C major and 2/4 time; "La Plaisirs de Fontaine" is in G major and 2/4 time; "Le Terpsychore" is in C major and 6/8 time;"La Volage" is in C major and 2/4 time; "Highland Lassie" is in C major and 6/8 time.
