Description
A music manuscript with the notation for the song "Merrill's Maggot"—also called "Hole on a Ground" and "Phillip the Whole"—on the front. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Merrill's Maggot" is in G minor and 3/2 time.
