Description
A music manuscript folio with the notation for the song "Abbots Bromley" on the front; the bottom of the page is signed by David Langstaff. The inner pages contain notation for the song "Canon Variation", a canonic version of the melody on the front page. The back page is blank. Sources are listed on the manuscript. Part of the collection of songs and dances from the 17th and 18th centuries gathered by Bessie Osgood; "Abbots Bromley" and its "Canon Variation" are in A minor and 6/8 time.
