Presenter Bio
Josh completed his undergraduate studies in geology and coastal and marine geosciences at the University of Delaware. Under the direction of Dr. Chris Sommerfield, he completed an undergraduate thesis focused on using naturally occurring radionuclides that adsorb to fine grain sediment to predict deposition rates during different seasons in the Delaware Estuary.
With his advisor, Dr. Tom Lippmann, Josh's master's research project will likely explore techniques for mapping coastal areas and better understanding their dynamic sediment systems.
