Abstract
This presentation discusses the show Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead by Burt V. Royal, as well as the challenges that come with directing a show of this content. This show is based on the Peanuts characters in the future as high school students, and how their lives have changed since their childhood. It contains many heavy topics, such as suicide, alcohol and drug abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and depression, but is an incredibly impactful story when presented the right way.
