Abstract
Only about one-third of Massachusetts residents approve of President Donald Trump's handling of the economy, foreign policy, and his overall job performance. Majorities of Bay Staters say that the U.S. is not doing enough to back Ukraine and that it is inappropriate for Trump to accept a jet from Qatar. Six in ten Massachusetts residents disapprove of the Trump administration's treatment of Harvard University. Half of Bay Staters approve of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey's performance and residents are about evenly divided on whether she deserves to be re-elected. Residents are less likely to say that Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey deserves to be re-elected and a majority are concerned about his age.
