Abstract

More than half of likely voters in Rhode Island plan to vote for President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election. However, a majority of Rhode Islanders disapprove of Biden's performance as president, many citing his handling of immigration as a reason they disapprove. Donald Trump is an unpopular figure in Rhode Island and nearly-two thirds believe Trump is guilty in his ”hush money” case. Rhode Islanders generally support protestors on campuses carrying out strikes or walkouts but think it is unacceptable to put up tents, occupy buildings, or state that Israel has no right to exist.
