Abstract
This project aimed to refine measures of early care and education (ECE) demand and supply for the U.S. and all 50 states, plus D.C. States developing ECE need a demand-informed target and a robust tally of available options, yet, estimates of ECE demand and supply are not well refined. See this brochure to learn how we improved estimates of ECE demand and supply by accounting for unmeasured needs, parental preference, multiple settings, and workforce constraints.
