View from a grassy area between Smith Hall, right, and Congreve Hall (not pictured). A dirt walking path cuts through the grass and barren trees frame the perimeter of the field. Ballard Hall, which is located near the corner of Garrison Avenue and Ballard Street, can be seen in the distance on left partially obscured by trees. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on October 28, 1924 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 77 in his index.
