A steam shovel, workers, and three horse drawn carts at a muddy pond area which is under construction. In the background on the left, workers lay piping down an embankment near a retaining wall. Wooden planks and other building materials can be seen in piles on the right. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire [on November 1, 1925] as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143.
