Description

View of Hood House shortly after construction. The surrounding area is still under development and the windows of Hood House remain boarded up as glass has yet to be installed. Four cars are parked on the left next to piles of dirt and a stone retaining wall can be seen on the right. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on December 31, 1931 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 314 in his index.
