Description

View of the right side of the James Hall terrace under construction. Wooden stakes and other building materials lay on the ground near the entrance to the terrace on the right. More wooden stakes, propped in the ground, lead across the unfinished terrace to a doorway on the left. A ladder leans against a column that frames the doorway. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on October 22, 1929 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 227 in his index.
