Description

A man in a coat, hat, and slacks walks on a dirt road which leads to the greenhouses, right, and Murkland Hall, center. On the lawn, at left, a stone monument dedicated to Benjamin Thompson, (1806-1890) is visible. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on November 19, 1927 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 218 in his index.
