View looking south east down Main Street. The Armory - Gymnasium building, now known as New Hampshire Hall, can be seen on the left next to the Memorial Field fence. Further down Main Street the Faculty Club and the back of Congreve Hall are visible. Two parked vehicles on the right side of the street are shaded by a row of trees as a car drives down the center of the road. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on August 19, 1924 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 29 in his index.
