Description
An eastward view from the College Brook Ravine area behind the Hamilton Smith Library, which was used as an outdoor ampitheater. In the foreground, a wooden bridge crosses College Brook. To its right, a corner of a large 4-H clover outlined on the grass is visible. At the crest of the hill a man can be seen standing on an outcropping of rock. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on August 19, 1924 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 40 in his index.
