View of Hewitt Hall, also known as the Shop building, from the sidewalk in between DeMeritt Hall, left, and James Hall, right. Several cars are parked on the street in front of Hewitt Hall and the heating plant smoke stack rises above the building on the right. Two figures can be seen sitting under a tree on the lawn near the corner of DeMeritt Hall. This image was taken in Durham, New Hampshire on October 22, 1936 as part of landscape architect Bremer W. Pond's project number 143 and is number 348 in his index.
