Thermal Expansion and Magnetostriction of the Heavy Fermion Borocarbide YbNi2B2C
Abstract
YbNi2B2C is an anisotropic heavy fermion compound with a coherence temperature of about 10 K. We report and discuss our recent measurements of the thermal expansion to temperatures below 1K and our measurements of the magnetostriction to about 18T.
